I was on a mission to find cost-effective insulation for my attic. After shopping around online at the big box stores I found Performance Pro Supply. I called and spoke to a sales person one morning who got me a quote that beat the big box stores by a lot. I asked what time they close and he said 5. It was a little out of my way, but I went there at 4:50 and I got really nervous because the door was locked. So I called my sales guy back. He called the store back and someone came and open the door and they took care of me. I was so pleased with the product it laid down easily, and everyone was so professional, friendly, and kind. I’m no contractor; I’m just a DIY homeowner, And if you’re like me and you need insulation or any other supplies that they sell for your DIY project, I recommend them highly! I called in for the first time today (6/5/25) to get help with my crawlspace vapor barrier. Spoke with Dezmen on the phone and he was very friendly and gave me some options over the phone. I felt good about the customer reviews I read before calling, so I decided to drive over to talk to Dezmen in person and get some advice. I was actually inside Home Depot and decided to leave and I pulled up 10 mins later. Met Dezmen and asked him a bunch of questions about what my plans were and what the best way to go about it. He was very friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. Also brought me to the back warehouse to check out the options we discussed. He even opened up some new packs and let me touch the blow-in insulation. (I came for vapor barrier, but needed some advice on my attic insulation too). I am very happy with my experience at Performance Pro Supply and Dezmen in particular. I would recommend to anyone if you have an insulation project coming up. In fact, I’m writing this review in my truck after Dezmen helped me carry my purchase out. And I am not the type of person to write a review online. This believe this is possibly is my first google review ever- so that’s saying something. Check them out and you will be happy you did.

The most common applications include:
- create a vapor seal where large gaps occur
- create a lap joint seal on corrugated metal building panels or prefabricated wall panels
- create a flash break on building purlins and girt flanges

GOMAMAX Gasket Seal Gun Foam

One-component ready to use polyurethane gunfoam for sealing between framed walls and drywall. Fine cell structure enhances thermal and acoustic insulation properties and provides airtight sealing.

Application Instructions
Application conditions:
Air temperature during use: 41˚F to 86˚F. Make sure the ambient temperature stays within this range until the foam has fully cured.
Can temperature during application: 50˚F to 77˚F, best results at 68˚F.
Surface preparation
Remove dust, loose particles and oil stains from the surfaces.
Application method
Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Hold the foam can in upright position, turn the gun to the can by holding the gun handle with one hand, and turn the can with the other hand. Make sure that the gun is not pointed at other persons when turning. The can must not be screwed to the gun with the valve upside down or by turning the gun on the can. Turn the can upside down and start applying. The foam output can be adjusted by the gun dial and trigger pressure.
Cleaning
Uncured foam can be removed with acetone, cured foam with mechanical means.
- Gomamax Gasket Seal is designed to be applied at the top plate to create a seal between the drywall and framing to reduce air infiltration from the attic or floor above. Application between the bottom plate and drywall, or the bottom plate to the floor (replacing caulk) is an option as well.
- ACH requirements are becoming more stringent every year with new codes going into effect. Gomamax Gasket Seal will provide a better result on blower door testing when properly applied.
- Gomamax Gasket Seal has elastic properties that allow it to stay attached to the lumber when drywall is slid over it. The rebounding properties allow it to fill in small gaps between the lumber and drywall.
