They carry Mountain Fiber which is a borate only cellulose (no chemicals or junk like greenfiber), great pricing, everyone I’ve worked with - Daisy, their branch manager Jonathan, our driver Antonio, everyone has been amazing. It was no issue getting the material out over an hour away. Really accommodating with returns (I way over estimated qty). When we had the slightest trouble with the rental machine they offered to swap it out the same day (we were able to get it working fine). I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.
I would rate the customer service of this company as ‘ Above and beyond’. I was in need of an insulation blower as the machine that came with the insulation purchase from Home Depot, simply did not do the job as it kept jamming. Very few rental companies in the Portland metro area rent these insulation blowers. I was looking for a machine that had a control gate, to control the flow of insulation through the output tubing. I initially spoke with Daisy regarding machine rental, and she put me in touch with Junior. I was very impressed that Junior was willing to go back into the warehouse and provide me with about a dozen pictures of the actual blower. The machine, Intex force 2, was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to rent the machine with only one day notice, and it worked flawlessly. Much to my surprise it was quieter than I expected. The three features I appreciated most was 1) A 100 foot remote control switch, 2) The barrel can hold one whole bale of insulation and 3) It only required two plug-ins, compared to other machines that required three. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again for my future insulation projects.

GOMAMAX Gasket Seal Gun Foam

One-component ready to use polyurethane gunfoam for sealing between framed walls and drywall. Fine cell structure enhances thermal and acoustic insulation properties and provides airtight sealing.

Application Instructions
Application conditions:
Air temperature during use: 41˚F to 86˚F. Make sure the ambient temperature stays within this range until the foam has fully cured.
Can temperature during application: 50˚F to 77˚F, best results at 68˚F.
Surface preparation
Remove dust, loose particles and oil stains from the surfaces.
Application method
Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times. Hold the foam can in upright position, turn the gun to the can by holding the gun handle with one hand, and turn the can with the other hand. Make sure that the gun is not pointed at other persons when turning. The can must not be screwed to the gun with the valve upside down or by turning the gun on the can. Turn the can upside down and start applying. The foam output can be adjusted by the gun dial and trigger pressure.
Cleaning
Uncured foam can be removed with acetone, cured foam with mechanical means.
- Gomamax Gasket Seal is designed to be applied at the top plate to create a seal between the drywall and framing to reduce air infiltration from the attic or floor above. Application between the bottom plate and drywall, or the bottom plate to the floor (replacing caulk) is an option as well.
- ACH requirements are becoming more stringent every year with new codes going into effect. Gomamax Gasket Seal will provide a better result on blower door testing when properly applied.
- Gomamax Gasket Seal has elastic properties that allow it to stay attached to the lumber when drywall is slid over it. The rebounding properties allow it to fill in small gaps between the lumber and drywall.
