Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union
Energy-Smart Loans are available to members upgrading the efficiency of their homes. Qualifying energy efficiency and/or renewable energy projects can borrow up to $35,000 with fixed rate loans as low as 4.59% and terms up to 15 years. Learn more about current rates, terms and conditions.
Cascade Natural Gas
An energy-efficient home can save you money season after season. Cascade Natural Gas can help with cash rebates for upgrading insulation and other energy-saving measures. Income-qualified customers may be eligible for Low Income Weatherization Assistance in partnership with Cascade Natural Gas and your local Community Action Agency. Puget Sound Energy
Puget Sound Energy (PSE) customers can save up to $2,300 when they weatherize their home. Lower energy bills by preventing heat or cooling loss through unseen leaks and seams. Seattle City Light
Customers of Seattle City Light will help with energy-efficient windows and insulation upgrades with rebates covering 50% of cost including materials, labor and tax up to $500 (attic), $200 (floor) and $500 (walls) for eligible projects. Upgrades to windows and glass patio doors may qualify for rebates of $50 per window or door. Learn more.
Snohomish County Public Utility District No. 1
Customers who have electric heat and want to install insulation in their floor, ceiling, or walls; insulated windows; or duct sealing and insulation are eligible for rebates. For insulation installed by a PUD Registered Trade Ally, instant rebates of $0.50 per square foot are available when eligible measures are met. Tacoma Public Utilities
Customers of Tacoma Power are eligible for rebates of $.080 per square foot (residential) and between $1.00 and $1.60 for rental properties for making insulation upgrades to their property. To qualify for the rebates, homes must be built before 1988 and have electric heat. Or, owner-occupied residential customers may be able to choose a seven-year, zero-interest loan instead. Tacoma Power also has a low-income grant that covers up to $1.60 per square foot for contractor-installed insulation in owner-occupied homes (which could cover most of the cost of the upgrade) for those that qualify.
